Yesterday, Havana woke up at half-past midnight. Thomas and I watched her play in her tank until around 3 AM, then we went to bed. She was asleep when I woke up this morning.
Since we just moved her to our home, we’re not sure whether this will be her regular sleeping pattern or whether she just has the snake version of jet lag. We’ll have to wait to find out what her sleeping pattern is actually like. That being said, snakes are nocturnal animals, so we do expect her to be waking up at night and sleeping in the morning. Of course, we would really like it if she woke up earlier so we could watch her play before having to go to bed.
